What is Mini-Bunch?
A child can sometimes wait 2-4 years for a Big Brother or Big Sister. That's a long time for a child.

Mini-Bunch enables children waiting for a Big to go out on activities in a small group (around 4-5 kids) and still benefit from the wonderful volunteers who help out.

Some children have a difficult time making friends and Mini-Bunch is a welcome addition to the life of a child who has limited friendships. This allows the child to go out, have fun and gives them a sense of belonging.

Group Activities
Mini-Bunch is usually divided into age groups 6-8, 9-12 and teens. Often further divided into boys and girls groups.

Why Volunteer?
Children who spend time with a mentor gain confidence, acquire new skills and compentencies. They develop an enhanced capacity to care for others.

Volunteers experience a sense of discovery and enjoyment as they see a world of possibilities open up through a child's eyes.
