Interested in volunteering? Here are the steps to become involved:Contact the our office for an application form. You can find us at 153A 8th Street or give us a call at 727-1787. Staff will take you personal information (name, address, phone number), and invite you to attend an orientation and child safety training session. Participation in the orientation and child safety training session is mandatory. At the orientation session you will be asked to complete a Child Abuse Registry Check, Police Records Check and Pardons Check. Big Brothers and Sisters of Brandon provide these forms. - Once your reference checks are received our staff will schedule a one-on-one screening interview and home visit with you.
- Upon completion of these steps, your file is reviewed by a screening committee who approves successful volunteers.
