Big Brothers Big Sisters News  (Winter 2010/11)

Festival of Trees For two days in December the Carleton Civic Centre Community room was transformed into a lush holiday forest of 29 trees beautifully decorated by local businesses, schools, service clubs and individuals to raise awareness and support of Big Brothers Big Sisters children's programs.  This holiday event welcomed over 325 visitors to wander along Candy Cane Lane enjoying a cup of hot apple cider while viewing our hand decorated trees, bid on over 80 silent auction items, and entertained with song and dance by local children.     Thankyou to everyone who made this year's festival an overwhelming success in raising over $14,271.00.
