                               Bowl For Kids — February 25, 2007

Thank you for helping us make this another successful event.  The generosity of our community  is outstanding and we are grateful for their support  and sponsorship. We had 83 teams participating with 257 bowlers.

The first prize weekday golf membership was awarded to Jim Baker. The 15” LCD television & DVD player were awarded to Margaret Vondenhoegh. Third prize 5 CD stereo system was awarded to Susan Lund.

Due to the sale of the Fergus Bowling Lanes on February 25, 2007, this was our last  year to bowl in Fergus. We hope to see you at Woodlawn Bowl in Guelph next year. Where we aim to “strike it big for littles” once again.

    May 30, 2007

This year we decided to try a new venue for our golf tournament, it was held at Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club.

On a sunny Wednesday,  fourteen golfers teed off at noon on  the beautiful course, to play 18 holes.  This was followed with a roast beef dinner, awards and a silent auction.

The venue for next year has not yet been decided

Fergus Scottish Festival

A huge THANK- YOU to the many volunteers who helped to man the gates at the Festival this August.

Our partnership with the Board and Staff of the Festival continues to be very worthwhile for all parties and we thank them for their support.

Thank you to Sue Foard, Eleanor Johnston  and Linda Austin for their organization of the gates.

We hope to see you all again at next year’s event.
