Who are Big Brothers?

People who care about the future and the lives of young people

People who want to have fun with a young person

We take care to ensure that you and your Little Brother have similar interests and compatible personalities. Matches spend one-to-one time together doing things that friends do… going to the park, watching a movie or just hanging out. You don’t have to change your life to become a Big Brother, having a Little Brother just means you have someone else to share your life and the things that you like to do.

Volunteer Big Brothers are adult men from 19 years of age and up and we welcome applications from all age groups. You could be just starting a college or university education or a recent graduate starting your new career or maybe you're new to our community. You're never too old to have fun whether you're 25 or 50!

Having access to a motor vehicle with adequate insurance is important for volunteers as many of our parents are unable to provide transportation to and from activities. Volunteers should be able to make a one year commitment to the program and see their little brother on average 2-3 hours a week depending on the activity you plan and your schedule.
