Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cranbrook has been a member agency with the United Way of Cranbrook since 1999.  As a member apply for funding each year. The funding we receive from the United Way comprises about 14% of our total revenues and goes toward our operating expenses to support mentoring relationships for children & youth.  

United Way gives individuals, families and organizations an opportunity to help their community — with the assurance that donations will directly benefit the community through the local agencies that depend on United Way for funding.

There are a number of ways you can make your donation to the United Way of Cranbrook and Kimberley: cash, cheque, payroll deduction, credit card, or online giving at www.cranbrook.unitedway.ca . You can specify an agency, like Big Brothers Big Sisters, that you would choose to allocate your donation to, if desired.

Receipts for donations are issued when a pledge is paid in full. If you contribute by payroll deduction, your donation will be reported on your T4 slip at the end of the year.

You can also give a lasting legacy through the Planned Giving Program or become part of the Leadership Giving Program.
