IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW YOU'RE HELPING to CREATE SUCCESS STORIESCLICK ON THIS LINK TO WATCH A BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS SUCCESS STORY: http://www.cranbrook.bbbsfilms.com

THERE ARE LOTS OF WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE and HERE ARE A FEW IDEAS:

Ken & Sheila Hansen from Integra Tire donated one evening in a suite at the Rec Plex for a group of 12 people to watch a Kootenay Ice Hockey game March 5, 2010

New Dawn Developments and Reimann Painting donated free swim passes for our matched volunteers to take their little brother or little sister swimming at the pool.

Your financial contribution will make a Big difference to children in Cranbrook & Kimberley (our service area). Please call our BBBS Office 250-489-3111 if you'd like to make a donation.

Past and present TELUS employees are recognized by their company for their volunteer hours.  For every 60 hours of volunteer work Telus will donate $200 to a charity of the employee's choice. Telus employees are BBBS volunteers and we've benefited from this program.  Thanks to Bob & Louise Baird for their recent donation!

B.C. HYDRO also has an employee charitable giving program and BBBS has benefitted from this program as well.  If you work for a large corporation you may wish to check out their charitable giving policies and programs!

By donating to our local United Way of Cranbrook & Kimberley you're supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cranbrook.  In 2010 our Agency will receive $7,000 from the United Way and many thanks to those that support our United Way....

You can also donate used clothing & household items to our Big Brothers Big Sisters Renew Crew.  This is a great way to recycle your used clothing and unwanted items - just drop off your gently used soft goods to our Big Blue Bin located outside of the Cranbrook Wal-Mart Store available 24 hours a day 7 days a week; no dumping or glass please.

Need a fast snack? Located at local businesses are Sharemore Candy Machines with the Big Brothers Big Sisters logo. Local vending machine owners Frank & Carol Taylor donate a portion of money raised to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cranbrook and our programs.
