The money generated from this service goes directly to supporting children in our Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Couples for Kids, In-School Mentoring and Go Girls' Programs. Not only are you helping children when you donate to the Renew Crew, you're also helping our environment by diverting tons of reusable or recyclable items from land fills in our area!

All items collected are sold to Value Village in the Okanagan. The company partners with non-profit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters by purchasing and reselling donated items. Value Village pays our organization a bulk rate for the items regardless of whether or not they are sold. This process allows BBBS to focus on collecting goods rather than having to undertake the expense of sorting or running a store ourselves. As up to half of all donations are unsuitable for sale, over 220 million pounds of clothing, shoes, toys etc are shipped off to developing nations each year. More items going to people who need them and staying out of our land fills.
