Every summer Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Dufferin & District runs a one-week day camp with the Orangeville Police. Kids 'N' Kops is a "mini-police academy" for kids who are waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister. The program provides children with an opportunity to have fun and learn about law enforcement. Kids obtain a heightened respect for the law, the police and the community. Morning activites can include: - Crime scene investigation
- Traffic safety
- Tactical rescue
- Drug and alcohol awareness
- Fire investigations
- Bomb disposal
- Self-esteem/respect building
- A visit to the local courthouse
