 | On March 27th, 2007, Deb Matthews, MPP for London North Centre hosted a reception for Ontario Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies at Queen’s Park in Toronto. | | The reception was very well attended, with many MPPs, Ministers and bureaucrats showing their support for the movement. And of course, there were many representatives from our Ontario agencies who attended. |  | 
 | Our guest speakers that night included John Tory, MPP and Leader of the Official Opposition; Howard Hampton, Leader of the  Ontario NDP and Madeline Meilleur, Minister of Community and Social Services. | | One of the highlights of the night was the enthusiastic speech delivered by Catherine, a Little Sister to Lynn. The special relationship between the two was easy to see! |  | 
 | Prior to the reception, meetings were held with various representatives of the Government of Ontario, who were told of our mentoring programs and the links between them and various Government ministries. The meetings were a great success and we are now busy following up on requests for more information. |
