In 1998, CIBC announced a major scholarship program for grade 10 students. With support for four years of post secondary education and summer internships provided through YMCA Canada, this initiative has now seen numerous young people from our programs graduate from post secondary institutions across the country.

CIBC's YouthVision Scholarship program is one of the most hotly contested programs each year. It is incredible to see the wealth of potential present in agencies from all parts of Canada. In 2002, CIBC was a recipient of the prestigious Imagine Award, presented by the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy (now, Imagine Canada), which recognized the importance and value of the CIBC YouthVision Scholarship program which helps to inspire the young people in our programs.
