In 2004 Universal Studios Home Entertainment began working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada to spread the word about becoming a mentor.

Since our partnership began, Universal Studios Home Entertainment has included in pack advertisement for Big Brothers Big Sisters with numerous home release DVDs generating over 2 million promotional impressions for Big Brothers Big Sisters. This is tremendous visibility which has helped raise awareness for our organization and has directly impacted our efforts to recruit new volunteers. They also ‘walk the walk’ and have provided time release opportunities for employees to become In-School Mentors.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment actively supports the local community as well with annual participation in the Bowl for Kids Sake event as well as donating movie prize packages for various events.
