Best Buy Canada continues to offer multi faceted support to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC) and our member agencies. Best Buy supports our signature Bowl For Kids Sake event, offers a granting program to agencies that have a Best Buy location in their community and also offers a Best Buy Grand Opening program, giving a financial donation to agencies in communities where a new store is being opened. This support directly benefits numerous agencies across the country.

In 2005, Best Buy also supported the development of an online Volunteer Inquiry Form, allowing member agencies to more quickly respond to those interested in volunteering. Additionally, funds were directed to securing high quality speakers at both BBBSC's National Convention and Regional Workshops.

In 2007 Best Buy Canada and Nintendo Canada teamed up to provide support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada with a special Hallo Wii promotion.  This Halloween promotion raised $10,000 through the sale of Nintendo Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ consoles at Best Buy stores.
