The final tally is in! The Boston Pizza 22nd annual heart-shaped pizza fundraiser raised more than $493,000 to help Canadian youth! The restaurant’s annual heart-shaped pizza charity event, which took place on February 14 at 358 locations nationwide, raised funds for Boston Pizza Foundation (BPF) Future Prospects.
One dollar from the sale of every heart-shaped pizza sold at Boston Pizza on February 14 was donated to Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects. From January 13 to February 14, guests were also invited to purchase a Boston Pizza scratch card for a minimum donation of $2, or have a 1-in-4 chance of winning a free Panookie, a free Starbucks coffee or $2 off a dessert. A portion of the total funds raised will go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters as well as other youth serving organizations. We wish to thank all those who took part in the heart-shaped pizza fundraiser in support of helping Canadian youth reach their full potential.

Change can be a scary thing. For siblings, Zain (6), Jamal (8), and Dina (9), change and fear were common to their childhood. Zain, Jamal and Dina grew up in Syria where there has been ongoing conflict for several years.
