girl_blondFor over 40 years, our premier ‘fun’ raising event, Bowl for Kids Sake, has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for our agencies across Canada .

Debuting in 1973 as Bowl for Millions, the now well-known Bowl for Kids Sake season will shortly be kicking off in early February to late May where people like you will get together with friends, family, and co-workers in their local communities and bowl in support of the many Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs.

Research shows that children who have been mentored have higher self-esteem and are more likely to stay in school – empowering them to succeed, give back and realize their true potential.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada currently serves over 33,000 children that are matched with volunteers in our mentoring programs in over 1,000 communities across Canada. Our challenge is to find matches for the thousands of youths on our waiting lists.
