RFP: Photography Services

2016_05_31_YOUTH_IN_OFFICE_PM_GROUP_PHOTO_01Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada is requesting proposals for photography services at their national convention.

This photographer is tasked with capturing the essence of the event, and moments between participants throughout the course of the three day event, June 26-28, 2017.

Details are below. Please note: before being selected, you will be required to provide a police record check and references (as do all our volunteer mentors), before working on-site with our youth.

SHOTS REQUIRED

While a full shot list can be developed for the event, the expectations are for basic candid event shots:

  • Speakers and Panelists on stage
  • Participants at tables, in workshops, at social events; candid interaction and posed shots (Photographer responsible for staging)
  • Youth participants with larger delegation and in youth-only group work
  • Blue Jays Game (TBC)
  • Celebration of Mentoring Event
    • Candid: Speakers, participants
    • Posed: Partners and Special Guests (Photographer will be assisted on these shots)
  • Outdoor/Indoor/Venue/Signage shots as appropriate to capture event

THINGS TO NOTE

As photographer, you will be required to provide a police record check and references, (as do all our volunteer mentors) before working on-site with our youth.

These images will be used primarily in print and online productions, as well as on social media platforms (5-7 shots will need to be prepared at the end of each day to post on social media).

Images will be property of Big Brothers Big Sisters (National Office and individual Agencies) but can be used by photographer for portfolio/promotional purposes, preferably noting BBBS.

MEALS

MEALS All meals will be provided throughout the course of the event, including breakfast and snacks.

BLUE JAYS GAME

If we are able to bring photography equipment into the Rogers Centre, your Game ticket will be provided for you.

YOUTH

For the first time, we are engaging a youth delegation (aged 17-25) at National Convention.

You will be witnessing and capturing (and perhaps even participating in) mentoring in progress, and the development of young, civically-engaged adults. You will be inspired.
