Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fort St John

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Fort St John has been creating friendships since 1984, when we began with just one program. We started out matching Big Brothers with Little Brothers and have since grown to include a variety of different programs that serve both boys and girls and are adaptable to meet any volunteer's busy schedule. Our programs are both site and community-based and include: Traditional Mentoring, Couples for Kids, In-School Mentoring, Teen In-School Mentoring, Big Bunch and our newest program - Go Girls!!

We are proud of our achievements and are committed to continuing to strive to be on the leading edge of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters movement in Canada, as well as working towards our goal of ensuring "that every child who needs a mentor, has a mentor"!!

Our success and growth would not have been possible without the support of our community members, city, local businesses and the many volunteers and families that we work with and for that, we say a “Big” THANK YOU!! We appreciate your on-going support!
