“Buddies without Borders” is a group mentoring program designed to encourage cross-cultural mentoring and friendship to boys of both Canadian and Immigrant status. The program will be fun-based and will include activities that focus on team-building and communication skills, while also incorporating cultural components.

Through the support of the Staff at Urban Systems, this program began as a pilot-project in October 2009 and will continue thru till June 2011, with activities occurring approximately every six weeks.

More about Urban Systems support for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the children of our community………………from February 2006 thru until October 2009, Urban Systems and their dedicated staff members operated our BIG BUNCH program, which made waiting a little more fun for the boys and girls waiting to be matched with “Big Brothers” or “Big Sisters”.

In total they provided more than 12 children with friendship and experiences they wouldn’t have had without Urban Systems and their staff!!
