Where: Grimsby Curling Club – 277 Kerman Ave Grimsby
Time: Each team participates in two games. The first group stats at 9am, has lunch, and then plays their second game at 1pm. The second group starts at 11am, has lunch, and then plays their second game at 3pm.
Curler Information:
Ø Choose a day that works best for your team Saturday or Sunday
Ø Teams play two games each
Ø Piper will pipe players out onto the ice
Ø Cost: $400.00 per team in pledges!!!
Ø Prizes are given to each team member
Ø Teams that raise over $600.00 receive bottles of wine
Ø Teams that raise over $800.00 receive sweatshirts
Ø Light lunch, coffee and snacks will be provided
Ø All pledge sheets and money are due on the day of the event
Ø Tax receipts will be issued upon request for donations over $10.00
Ø Bring your toonies for the Chinese Auction
No curling skills required, come out and have fun
21th Annual Curling Appeal Spiel
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grimsby, Lincoln & West Lincoln is an agency dedicated to helping the development of children growing up in primarily single parent homes. We offer quality mentoring relationships with caring volunteers from the community. Presently, there are 93 children benefiting from our programs and services. Each fundraising event is vital to the continuance of our services as we are completely self-funded. We do not receive any funding from the United Way. The agency is supported through the generosity of the community.
When: Saturday and Sunday November 6th and 7th , 2010
