Big Brothers Big Sisters relies on the generosity of corporate sponsors and individual donors to provide the funding we need to continue our service to children. 

Our biggest fund-raising endeavour is the annual Bowl for Kids Campaign. This single event raises about 20% of our annual budget. With 64 teams participating in this annual event, we ask that each team raise about $500.  Just $125 for each bowler!  If each team raises this amount we will achieve our goal of $30,000. In 2010, we went beyond our goal and raised an amazing $32,515! This is not only a record for Innisfail, but places us, on a per capita basis, way above most other Big Brother Big Sister agencies in Canada. We couldn't be more proud of the support we receive from our community! Prizes for this event were donated by nearly 60 local businesses!

We also work one Casino every 3 years to supplement our budget - We thank those who volunteer to work at this two day event.  A special thank you the the Innisfail Rotary Club for always helping us man this event!

Additional gaming funds come to our organization through lottery grants from Community Initiatives Program every few years. These are matching grants, so we usually apply after a good year in fundraising.

We receive funding from the Innisfail FCSS, Red Deer County FCSS, and Clearwater County (Caroline) FCSS to support the In-School Mentoring Programs.

Other support from the community includes low rent from the Gift Loft, facility use for group activities from the United Church, camp fee subsidies from Innisfail Kinsmen, van transportation from the Innisfail Legion, and discounts from the Innisfail Co-Op store.

Children In Art - We have a selection of art by up and coming Canadian Artists.  Each art print is valued at $275, but may be purchased for $100. A catalogue is available in the office.
