Come Celebrate 27 Years

of Bowling for Kids’ Sake!

We are once again getting ready for our “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” weekend. This year, we will be celebrating our 27^thyear of bowling and it will take place on Saturday,March 3^rd & Sunday, March 4^th, 2012.

Last year the monies raised by everyone in our community assisted in funding our Group Mentoring Programs, as well as numerous other activities for children and youth in our agency. The support of our community enables us to continue our traditional program that matches energetic young people with volunteers in one-to-one friendships.

We will continue our team challenge entitled “Most Uniquely Dressed Team”. The winning team will receive a prize and have photos taken for the newspapers. They will also have their team name put on a plaque in the BBBS Office.

A highlight of this year’s event will be the “Rock ’n Bowl” running on Saturday, March 3^rd from 3 - 9 p.m. This event is open to people of all ages! Come out, enjoy yourself and “bring somemagic to the kids in your community”. Times can be reserved for your group by contacting the Big Brothers Big Sisters office.

Information that is important for you to know:

- Shoes and bowling are provided free of charge

- Draws/prizes each hour

- Refreshments (coffee and timbits) are supplied

- Trophies to the “team challenge” winners.

- Individuals raising $300 or more will receive a special gift from BBBS of Kincardine.

- Money that is collected should be handed in on the day of bowling.

- For every $50 on your pledge form you will get a draw ticket/s to fill out for prizes at the end of the bowling weekend.

Pledge forms are available at: Big Brothers Big Sisters office or Bruce Bowling Lanes or call us at 396-3565 and we will make sure that they are available for you. Get your registration form in A.S.A.P. and look forward to a fun weekend on Saturday,March 3^rd & Sunday, March 4^th, 2012.
