Canadian Western Bank once again presented its "Greater Interest GIC" campaign in support of Lethbridge Big Brothers Big Sister from September 1 through the end of October 2011. 

The bank offered a special interest rate for a special term length on all of its GIC investment products.  When clients invested their money to this product, the bank donated, from its own funds, a one-eighth per cent of all investment totals to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

2011 was the 4th year Canadian Western Bank has supported this community initiative and has been able to raise more funds each succesive year.  Last year's target was $8000 and the campaign raised just over $10,000 for the Lethbridge Big Brothers Big Sisters.
