Big Brothers and Big Sisters are people like you who volunteer to share a little time with a young person! There are over 150 Big Brothers/Big Sisters agencies across the country that provide direct service to over 23,000 children by matching them to adult volunteers in quality mentoring relationships.

Each Big Brother/Big Sister agency provides direct service to children by matching adults and children in quality mentoring relationships. Our agency staff members are experts at screening volunteers and matching them with a child having similar interests.

You have what it takes to become a part of something Big!  Our volunteers come from all walks of life but have the common goal of wanting to help a child.  It’s easy to get involved…you don’t have to change your life, you just have to make a bit of room for a new friend.

Making a Difference!

The impact made by our volunteers is truly overwhelming! Children who have been in our program see real, positive change. Our Littles go on to graduate from high school at a rate of 20% higher than the national average. 78% of Littles who came from a social assistance background no longer rely on this form of income.Currently, over 17,000 children are matched with adults in one-to-one programs.

Our challenge is to find matches for the 10,000 kids on the waiting lists!
