Mentoring Excellence BC (MEBC)
.......builds the capacity of Big Brothers Big Sisters Agencies in BC to respond to the challenge of serving increasing numbers of children in our Province. It is a cooperative initiative that brings together all Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies in BC to provide support to each other and to work side by side as we strive to be increasingly relevant to the children and communities that we serve.
MEBC was first formed to provide agency-to-agency mentorship and to enhance the sustainability of Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across the British Columbia. Annual legislative receptions are now held in the province's capital to discuss mentoring and the goals and missions of Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies. MEBC aims to create strong working relationships with provincial ministries and members of legislative assembly by actively complimenting each other's visions toward mentoring.
