Duane Pound’s work in the community was remarkable.
He was involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters for more than 7 years as a volunteer Big Brother as well as chairman on the Board of Directors for the organization. He was involved in the community as a coach for diverse hockey clubs and association. The youth cause was very close to his heart.
Duane Pound was a leader and a motivator. He was devoted to his family, community and a working man who touched the hearts of all who knew him.
In 2004, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Moncton put together a Golf Tournament and a Bursary in memory of this great man; Duane Pound.
