Bristol Announces freeTHINK 2007 clients |
Six charities have been selected to access marketing and communications expertise free of charge during 24-hour work-a-thon for charity
Bristol, Atlantic Canada’s leading communications agency, will close for regular business from noon Thursday until noon on Friday for its fifth annual freeTHINK – a 24-hour work-a-thon where the firm’s entire resources are dedicated to providing marketing communications expertise free of charge to selected not-for-profit groups across Atlantic Canada.
Four of Bristol’s offices (Halifax, Moncton, Saint John & St. John’s) will be providing selected not-for-profits with unfettered access to more than 130 communications professionals for a full 24 hours. Charities will receive advice and assistance in everything from advertising and production, to public relations and online marketing.
This year Bristol will be assisting an unprecedented six organizations company wide, bringing the total number of charities that have been helped by the company to 27 over the past five years.
Bristol is pleased to announce that the following six charities have been chosen as their freeTHINK 2007 clients:
In Newfoundland and Labrador the clients will be the Kids Eat Smart Foundation, a charitable organization that provides school children throughout with quality nutrition programs. They will also be working for St. John’s Clean and Beautiful, an organization dedicated to reducing litter through increasing environmental awareness and encouraging community beatification projects.
In New Brunswick, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Moncton, who deliver a child and youth mentoring program, and The Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick, who provide literacy programming, will both benefit from Bristol’s marketing expertise.
Nova Scotia will be taking on Scouts Canada, Nova Scotia Council and L.O.V.E. (Leave Out Violence) Nova Scotia, a unique long-term violence-prevention youth program as their freeTHINK projects.
“We want to express our thanks for the time, effort and interest not-for-profit groups across Atlantic Canada showed in freeTHINK this year” said Rick Emberley, President and CEO. “The selection process, done by a panel of Bristol clients and staff was very difficult as we received over 100 applications.”
With offices in Canada and Qatar, Bristol brings clients over 30 years of experience and leadership in public relations, advertising, online marketing, events and market research to create outstanding campaigns that deliver results.
