Explore eight enchanting gardens in Cobourg’s rural environs
Celebrating our 12th year!
Sunday, June 24, 2012
10 am to 4 pm

Enjoy a serene Sunday in the green hills and dales of beautiful Northumberland.  This year’s tour offers you a great opportunity to observe the rich diversity of our area’s gorgeous gardens.  The settings are spectacular and so are the views.  Expect the unexpected – the imaginative and dramatic terracing of a steep hillside; a pond with graceful bulrushes and grasses set against a lush background of trees; a secluded estate of great beauty with a fascinating family history; a heritage garden sheltered for generations by towering old maple trees; a peaceful natural garden with a vast half-acre bed of wildflowers; an enchanted woodland of several acres; colourful borders of manicured perfection in a tapestry of pattern and texture; and a historic garden which has gracefully adapted to well over a century of change…

Again, the Birdhouse Boutique will be open for business at one of the gardens, featuring handcrafted birdhouses and birdhouses painted by well-known local artists.
