The Big Sister program is a one-to-one program where a volunteer
(19 years old +) is matched to a Little Sister in a relationship that's based on fun and friendship. We match a Big Sister with a Little Sister working to ensure they have similar likes and interests. Matches spend approximately 3 hours per week together doing things that friends do… like going biking, playing ball, making crafts, watching a movie or just hanging out. We ask our volunteers to give a year commitment to this program.
You don’t have to change your life to become a Big Sister… having a Little Sister just means sharing your life with her. After the match is made, you get down to creating a true friendship that will benefit a child…but you’ll also be surprised about how the friendship will make you feel great too.
