Building on 20 years of continuous service to the children of Lunenburg and Queens Counties!

South Shore Big Brothers/Big Sisters has been creating friendships since 1985. We started out matching Big Brothers with Little Brothers and have grown to include a variety of different programs that serve both boys and girls. 

In our 20 plus years of continuous service, we have matched over two hundred Little Brothers and Little Sisters with screened adult volunteers. Since 1999, over one hundred Mentees have experienced a special one-on-one friendship with an adult or Junior Mentor.

We are proud of our achievements and continue to strive to be on the leading edge of the Big Brothers Big Sisters movement in Canada.

We are also proud members of our community actively participating on committees such as the Bullying Committee of South Shore Safe Communities Initiative and the Lunenburg/Queens Volunteer Coalition.
