South Shore Big Brothers Big Sisters

Come join us at Big Brothers Big Sisters 1st Charity Regatta to be held at LaHave River Yacht Club on the 28th of August, 2010!
The Friday evening before the Regatta there will be a silent auction, on the 27th of August from 7 pm to 9 pm. Members of the Yacht Club would be more than happy to sign in non-members.
The Regatta begins at 1:00 pm on Saturday afternoon. There will be a dance Sat evening as well. Everyone welcome.

The 2010 Kids n Kops Program and the 2010/11 In-School Mentoring Program have just received full funding for the amount requested!

Without United Way of Lunenburg's support, these programs would not be able to take place. Thank you United Way!!

Thanks to CKBW for all the great radio coverage at the recent Big Ex.

CKBW operated out of the baby barn, which was donated by New Germany Building Supplies, and all of the proceeds went to us! Thank you to New Germany Building Supplies for the baby barn. The barn was won by Syd Whynot from Liverpool. The proceeds totaled over $2,200. Thank you!
