Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada
As a member of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, Stettler’s club has benefited through the receipt of many grants. Most recently, the Stettler Boys and Girls Club received the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada Nutrition Grant – these funds are being used to support the after-school snack program; Kids in the Kitchen; and to purchase cooking supplies and equipment. Stettler club also received a Cool Moves Grant which provides programming that encourages healthy, active lifestyles in youth

The Stettler Legion, with local support, built the Legion Youth Complex in 1997 to provide a rent free home for the Heartland Youth Center.
KidSport
KidSport has been supporting the Heartland Youth Center by providing funding for our Girls Fit program, helping with costs of match activities such as swimming at our local Recreation Center. KidSport also provides funding for some of our community children to participate in various Boys and Girls Club activities throughout the year. These activities may include joining the children in our summer program on special outings like going to the zoo or water slides.
Community Spirit - is an Alberta program that recognizes and encourages donations made by Albertans to Alberta based community organizations by providing financial incentives for individual donors and the recipient organization. Thus, donations made by individuals to the Heartland Youth Center benefit the Youth Center twice! The Youth Center can apply for a proportional grant from the Government of Alberta for all the individual cash donations received throughout the year!
Sears - Stettler was one of fifteen communities nation wide and one of two in Alberta to receive this years after-school grant. These funds will be used to enhance the after-school program by including a performance art component and community outreach.
