Don't forget there is a FREE SWIM at the Stettler Recreation Center on the first and third Sunday of every month from 3-5pm, sponsored by Superfluity and Kidsport.
Also, there is FREE public SKATING on Wed. from 6:45-7:45pm and on Sunday from 3:45-4:45pm.
Take part in the activities listed on your Right. Keep in mind the type of activities allowed for different programs. In-School Mentors can not leave School property.
* Draw a picture with your toes
* Balance an item on your head and try navigating through a maze
* Trace each others shadows on the sidewalk
* Set up a domino maze and knock it over
* Pressed flower crafts
* Make a pet rock - clean, paint, glue on hats and feet ect.
* Build a castle out of toothpicks or cards
* Make a milkshake, float, jello, pudding
* Hopscotch
* Make a dollhouse
* Finger puppets, shadow puppets
* Try the Limbo!
* Thumb wrestle
* Build a snowman, fort
* bike, swim, rollerblade or other sport
* bake
* go shopping (Dollar store, window shop)
* Mini make-over (hair, nails, make-up)
* listen to and compare favorite music
* visit the beach and perfect your suntan (sand castles, sand animals, water frisbe, rent a paddle boat, campfire)
* participate in a community service project together (pet therapy for elderly)
* draw tatoos on each other
* make suntan tatoos (make a design out of tape, put it on your arm or leg, tan, take tape off and you are left with the image of the design)
* make ice-cream, yogurt, butter
* read teen magazines - quizes, embarassing stories
* drive around listening to music and talk about boys/girls
* make mock-tails (cocktails without alcohol)
* picnic and kites
* curl up by a late campfire and watch the stars
* make a scrapbook of the things you have done together
* have a "Girls Night", invite a friend, watch sappy movies, eat junk food ect

* try wash out hair dye (Kool-Aide)
* play Truth or Dare
* adopt a pet - one to take home or one through correspondance ie: an endangered species

* encouage dreams, help each other to achieve them

* take a board game to play at the park (Dairy Queen and A&W are good about letting you use a back table to hang out and play games)
* go to Ol'MacDonalds campground - mini golf, paddle boats, weiner roast ect
* West Stettler Park - lawn games, kites, fishing, bike path, splash park
* Red Deer - movie, lazer tag, arcades, Discovery Canyon, go-carts, Bower Ponds (paddle boats, ice cream, baseball, fishing)
* Lacombe Corn Maze
* build a tree house, dog house, bird house, soap-box derby car
