New Community Partnership

November 1, 2012 (SAINT JOHN) - The Boys and Girls Club of Saint John, the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Resource Centre for Youth in Greater Saint John are coordinating their efforts and activities through a newly formed partnership called YOUTH SJ.

The partnership will allow all member organizations to leverage the expertise of each other to better serve youth throughout Greater Saint John and reducing the potential for duplication of service.

Together, YOUTH SJ will speak with one voice to benefit the youth of Greater Saint John in matters that affect their lives and strive to support them in shaping their local community and society as a whole.

The first priority of the new partnership is the development of a widely understood and consistent community standard of care for the region’s youth-serving agencies. The intent is to set the bar high for levels of service within the community.
